Deputy Manager / Manager (Stakeholder Engagement)

About the role

This role sits in the Stakeholder Engagement section of the Safety Policy and Planning Division (SPP) at CAAS, contributing to the promotion of aviation safety and the support of aviation safety regulation. You will join a team that develops and drives CAAS' aviation safety promotion strategy for the Singapore aviation sector, strengthening safety culture and embedding a safety mindset among aviation workers.

Key responsibilities

• Support management in developing plans and implementing activities to engage stakeholders on aviation safety, focusing on safety culture and voluntary safety reporting.
• Lead projects, including organising and running the biennial aviation sector-wide safety culture survey, analysing areas for improvement, developing strategies and initiatives, engaging stakeholders and monitoring progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues in safety regulation, corporate communications and other areas to communicate safety messages and run engagement activities.
• Drive enhancements to the outreach network and capabilities to deepen engagement with industry stakeholders.
• Take part in the organising team for large-scale safety forums such as the CAAS Aviation Safety Forum, and possibly attend international forums on safety culture.

Required profile

• Experience in aviation safety, safety culture and/or safety promotion.
• Training in one of the above fields is preferred.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and/or communications.
• Strong analytical and writing skills, and strong project management skills to lead projects independently.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong motivation and desire to achieve excellence.
