Deputy/Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting & Governance

About the role

The Deputy/Assistant Manager will join the Financial Reporting & Governance Division of LTA’s Finance Group, supporting accurate financial accounting, cost allocation, and governance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly cost allocation, ensure accurate recovery and provide analysis for management reporting.
• Advise LTA divisions on cost allocation and accounting treatment.
• Participate in month‑end closing, audit schedule preparation, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare submissions in line with the financial governance framework and liaise with external auditors.
• Assess audit observations and follow up on recommendations.
• Support financial system enhancements, conduct user‑acceptance testing, draft SOPs, and deliver change‑management briefings.
• Identify and implement process improvements using tools such as Robotic Process Automation.
• Handle ad‑hoc projects and additional responsibilities as required.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit.
• Meticulous, self‑driven and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical abilities and good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with officers and management at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of analytics or automation tools such as Python or UiPath (preferred).
