Design drafter

About the role
We are seeking a Design Drafter to create detailed aluminium and steel drawings for projects and tender submissions. The role involves independent production of construction specifications and close coordination with contractors and vendors.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and draft technical drawings for aluminium and steel works, including tender documentation.
- Develop space planning concepts, detailed designs, and construction specifications.
- Produce detailed drawings and specifications independently.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure design intent.
- Verify that drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and engineering best practices.
- Perform quantity take‑offs and generate cutting lists.
Required profile
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of drafting experience in aluminium windows, doors, or steel works within architectural or construction environments.
- Minimum three years of hands‑on experience with Revit.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Competence in AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of SolidWorks (3D).
