Developer Ecosystem Business Development Manager

About the role

Tencent WorkBuddy, an AI-native productivity platform built for enterprise use, is looking for a Developer Ecosystem Business Development Manager based in Singapore. The role identifies, acquires and enables developers, SaaS providers, AI startups, data providers and technology partners to build and integrate capabilities into WorkBuddy, working closely with Product, Engineering and Ecosystem teams to grow the platform's Skills, APIs, MCP integrations and future application marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and onboard developers, SaaS companies, AI startups, data providers, professional service providers and technology partners across international markets.
• Build strategic partnerships so partners can integrate their products and services into WorkBuddy through APIs, Skills, MCP and future WorkBuddy Applications.
• Define ecosystem growth strategies by selecting priority industries, developer communities and technology partners (financial services, legal, education, healthcare, enterprise software, productivity tools).
• Own the end-to-end partner onboarding journey, including partnership development, technical coordination, solution integration, enablement, launch planning and ongoing partner success management.
• Work with Product and Engineering to turn partner requirements into platform capabilities and improve developer onboarding.
• Develop scalable partner programs, collaboration frameworks and operational mechanisms, and replicate successful reference partnerships globally.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above with at least 5 years of experience in ecosystem development, strategic partnerships, business development, platform partnerships, developer relations or SaaS partnerships.
• Experience building partnerships with software vendors, developer communities, ISVs, AI startups, data providers or enterprise technology companies is highly desirable.
• Experience in Singapore or international markets is preferred; an existing network in developer communities, SaaS companies, AI startups or enterprise technology ecosystems is a strong advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required; Chinese Mandarin is required because about 50% of the role involves collaboration with China headquarters.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of developer ecosystems, APIs, SaaS integrations, AI applications, platform business models or enterprise software ecosystems.
• Experience working alongside developers or technology partners is preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
