DevOps Consultant – Cloud & CI/CD Engineer

About the role

Activate Interactive is looking for a DevOps Consultant to join its growing technology consultancy team. You will design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that enable the delivery of web and mobile applications for a range of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline.
• Provision, configure and manage AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFront) via Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration as code.
• Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes/ECS.
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting using CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus and ELK stacks.
• Enforce security best practices, including IAM policies, secrets management and vulnerability remediation.
• Support release management, coordinate deployments and rollbacks, and troubleshoot environment issues.
• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization, and document architecture and runbooks.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Proven ability to build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
• Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration platforms.
