Digital Tax Business Analyst – Associate/Senior

About the role

PWC's Digital Tax team is seeking a Business Analyst to help design, implement and optimise tax technology solutions. You will work closely with tax experts and technology developers to translate business needs into functional specifications and drive automation across corporate tax processes.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements for tax systems, producing functional and non‑functional specifications.
• Collaborate with developers to design, build or enhance tax technology solutions.
• Bridge the gap between technical teams and business users by creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and supporting project delivery end‑to‑end.
• Embed tax requirements into IT systems to improve automation, data quality and reporting.
• Ensure usability and suitability of tax applications, focusing on user experience.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably with a corporate tax background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a hands‑on attitude in a fast‑paced environment.
• Understanding of the software development life‑cycle.
