Director of People & Culture (HR)

About the role

As the Director of People & Culture (HR) at Novotel Singapore Robertson Quay, you will lead all HR functions, shaping policies and culture that support the hotel’s business objectives and its commitment to responsible hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and implement HR policies, procedures and standards covering compensation, benefits, employee welfare, safety, communication, industrial relations, training, performance and career development.
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, legal compliance and employment‑law matters.
• Develop manpower plans to ensure optimal staffing aligned with projected business levels.
• Partner with recruitment agencies, conduct interviews and assess candidates for management positions.
• Design and recommend competitive wage and salary structures to attract and retain talent.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management.
• Minimum 5 years of HR management experience.
• Strong understanding of labour and employment law.
• Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in MS Word.
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint.
