Director of Sales

About the role

Andaz Singapore, a lifestyle hotel brand by Hyatt, is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead all selling activities across the property. You will work closely with internal departments to maximise revenue and create lasting partnerships with corporate, leisure and group clients.

Key responsibilities

• Set and monitor sales targets, forecasts, KPIs and performance metrics.
• Analyse market trends, competitive landscape and customer insights to shape strategy.
• Ensure accurate sales forecasting, reporting and CRM discipline.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, leisure and group segments.
• Lead, mentor and motivate the sales team to achieve exceptional results.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to optimise revenue streams.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years recent experience in corporate or business development within the hotel industry.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Computer literacy in MS Office and Outlook.
• Prior exposure to a CRM system (e.g., Opera, Delphi) is an asset.
• Strong presentation skills, detail‑oriented and customer‑focused.
• Proactive attitude with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Deep understanding of hospitality market dynamics, distribution channels and customer segments.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management is preferred.
