Director, People Operations

About the role

CodaCoda is seeking a Director of People Operations to lead its global people operations function. Reporting to the SVP of People, you will own the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle for a workforce of 600+ across more than 20 countries, ensuring fast, reliable, and seamless HR services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale a distributed people operations team covering HRIS (Rippling), payroll, compliance, mobility, and employee support (Jira).
• Define service level agreements, drive high CSAT, and continuously optimise onboarding, off‑boarding and the overall employee journey.
• Design and implement scalable processes, policies and operating models that support rapid business growth.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on operational risks, trade‑offs and best practices.
• Maintain strong controls, documentation and audit readiness for payroll, compliance and employee data.
• Collaborate with employee relations, total rewards and talent development partners as needed.
• Lead M&A integration activities, including due diligence, data migration, payroll alignment and change management.

Required profile

• 8+ years of people operations experience with a proven leadership record.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop distributed, global teams.
• Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on approach to problem solving.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
