Director, People Partnering – APAC

About the role

The Director – People Partnering APAC will lead the design and delivery of people strategies across the Asia‑Pacific region for Nscale, a GPU cloud provider. Based in Singapore, the role combines strategic advisory with operational execution to support the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to APAC senior leaders, providing strategic, tactical and operational guidance on people‑related matters.
• Coach and influence leaders to build high‑performing teams, driving excellence in decision‑making, performance standards and accountability.
• Leverage people analytics and data‑driven insights to inform decisions and measure the impact of People initiatives.
• Partner with regional and global leadership to define and execute people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Shape organisational design, workforce planning, succession planning and leadership capability in line with regional growth priorities.
• Act as the regional voice for APAC within the global People Partnering leadership team.
• Design and implement regionally relevant programs that drive engagement, retention and a high‑performance culture.
• Advocate for an inclusive and psychologically safe work environment across diverse cultural contexts.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to enhance the employee lifecycle experience from onboarding through career progression.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience, preferably in a fast‑growing technology or cloud‑based environment.
• Deep understanding of APAC labour laws and compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align people strategies with business goals.
• Excellent influencing and coaching skills for senior executives.
• Data‑oriented mindset with experience using people analytics to drive decisions.
