Director, Public Affairs Singapore

About the role

Grab is seeking a Director of Public Affairs to lead its Singapore policy agenda. Reporting to the Managing Director of Singapore, you will shape and drive policies on data, gig‑economy and big‑tech regulation across transport, delivery and financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Grab’s primary liaison with government bodies, regulatory agencies and public stakeholders.
• Analyse public policy issues, develop positions and provide advocacy recommendations.
• Design and implement platform policy and advocacy strategies aligned with Grab’s business goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams (public relations, product, legal, privacy, safety, business) to deliver public‑affairs campaigns.
• Advise senior leadership on policy priorities and strategic plans.
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with government agencies and third‑party entities.
• Lead development of public‑private partnerships supporting government priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience shaping public policy on data, gig‑economy or technology regulation.
• Strong track record of engaging with Singapore government and community stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex policy topics into clear recommendations for internal and external audiences.
• Senior‑level leadership and strategic thinking skills.
