Director, Total Rewards

About the role

DayOne is seeking a Director, Total Rewards to lead the design, implementation, and management of compensation and benefits strategies across its regional operations. This senior HR leader will ensure that pay structures, benefit programs, and global mobility initiatives align with business objectives, market trends, and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement global compensation and benefits strategies aligned with organizational goals and market benchmarks.
• Manage the compensation and benefits budget, design compensation plans, and evaluate bonuses.
• Monitor and analyze programs for competitiveness, compliance, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Participate in budget planning and forecasting for C&B expenses.
• Stay abreast of legislative changes and industry trends, adapting programs as needed.
• Prepare and present C&B metrics, trends, and recommendations to senior management.
• Design and administer comprehensive benefits programs, negotiate with providers, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and manage global mobility programs, including expatriate assignments, tax compliance, and immigration support.
• Oversee payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with local regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and executing compensation and benefits strategies at a regional or global level.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret C&B data and identify improvement opportunities.
• In‑depth knowledge of local labor laws and regulatory requirements across operating regions.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting expenses, and presenting insights to senior leadership.
• Ability to collaborate with HR and business leaders and provide guidance on C&B matters.
