Domestic Marketing Executive

About the role

As a Domestic Marketing Executive you will design and execute end‑to‑end marketing campaigns for UMG’s roster of local artists across key digital platforms. You will leverage data insights to target audiences, grow streaming numbers and boost digital revenue while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Create, plan and launch innovative marketing plans for domestic artists on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube.
• Analyse audience data and trends to shape online and occasional offline strategies.
• Manage digital ad‑buying and produce engaging content for targeted campaigns.
• Maintain and grow artists’ social media accounts using best practices.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align marketing priorities.
• Build and nurture relationships with industry contacts to generate local opportunities.
• Organise and support promotional tours, both virtual and on‑ground.
• Attend showcases, concerts and events as needed.
• Prepare marketing reports, decks and handle general administrative duties.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in social media or digital marketing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Fluent English; Mandarin or Malay is a plus.
• Positive attitude, passion for music and strong time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube platforms.
• Experience using social listening tools such as Social Bakers.
• Digital ad‑buying expertise across major social channels.
• Project management and content creation capabilities.
