Due Diligence Specialist (Extendable Contract)

About the role

A leading global financial services organisation, with a strong presence across Asia and key international markets, is recruiting a Due Diligence Specialist for an extendable contract. The role sits within customer due diligence reviews and gives exposure to Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), KYC, remediation and high-net-worth client profiling. It is advertised by a consultant in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews for individual and business relationships
• Support periodic reviews, remediation exercises and trigger event assessments
• Verify and corroborate Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds (SOF) documentation
• Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews for higher-risk customer profiles
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and business partners to obtain and validate customer information
• Support regulatory initiatives, audit reviews and compliance-related projects
• Generate management reporting and contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Banking, Finance, Compliance or a related discipline
• Prior experience in KYC, CDD, AML, Financial Crime Compliance, client onboarding or customer reviews
• Familiarity with Source of Wealth, Source of Funds and Enhanced Due Diligence processes
• Understanding of regulatory and risk management frameworks in banking, insurance or financial services
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage tight timelines in a fast-paced environment, with strong analytical, investigative and problem-solving capabilities
