Duty Manager

About the role

The Duty Manager will oversee daily hotel operations at Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, ensuring seamless service delivery and a memorable guest experience in a beachfront resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily hotel operations to maintain smooth and efficient service.
• Monitor guest arrivals, departures, and service quality throughout their stay.
• Supervise, direct, and motivate the Front Office team, ensuring high performance and up‑to‑date product knowledge.
• Communicate operational updates and hotel offerings consistently across departments.
• Implement emergency response protocols and manage crisis situations promptly to safeguard guests and staff.

Required profile

• Proven understanding of rooms and front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment.
• Experience using OPMS or similar front office systems to manage guest services.
• Educational background in hotel management is preferred.
• Experience handling emergency response and crisis management.
• Certification in CERT and First Aid is an advantage.

Required skills
