Education Business Development Manager

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for an Education Business Development Manager in Singapore. The role is designed as onsite, with the expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office. It is the single point of accountability for the Education business in the country, carrying full responsibility for the order budget and P&L, and aligning with HPE Pre Sales, BU Specialist, EAM/EAL, GreenLake and A&PS.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead the country Education business, driving its development, growth and management.
• Align with internal and external stakeholders to position Education as an integral part of HPE's overall solutions.
• Drive go-to-market initiatives such as Support & Technology Attach, GreenLake/aaS and A&PS solution integration.
• Develop strategic accounts to build a recurring revenue stream from the training business.
• Oversee complex, large-scale solutions in close alignment with Portfolio and Delivery teams.

Required profile

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in the education or training business.
• Ability to execute long-term strategies while adapting to short-term market changes.
• Customer-centric focus with a track record of exceeding customer satisfaction metrics.
• Ideally previous experience running or supporting a P&L, covering orders, revenue, margin and profitability.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including regional stakeholders.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of the IT and services industry and of HPE's organization, services, processes and routes to market.
• Planning, financial analysis, project management and change management.
• Problem detection and root cause analysis.
• Presentation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
