Electrical Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, modify, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic assemblies that support advanced semiconductor equipment. The role involves engineering analysis, test reporting, and documentation for product releases while coordinating component procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and modify detailed drawings using E3S CAD based on engineering sketches and layouts.
• Perform basic engineering analysis and generate test reports for product releases.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of electrical components, identifying critical parts and resolving technical issues.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex electrical problems and implement solutions.
• Contribute design modifications to improve manufacturing operations and product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2‑4 years of relevant experience.
• Good understanding of three‑phase power calculations and AC power distribution design.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.

Required skills

• Three‑phase power and polar/Cartesian calculations.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic components, circuit protection, and sensor principles.
• Proficiency with Computer‑Aided Design (E3S CAD).
• Basic engineering analysis and test report generation.
