Electronics Production Engineer – Bedok Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an Electronics Production Engineer to join our Bedok manufacturing team in Singapore. The role focuses on developing and maintaining applications that support production and business processes, ensuring efficient operations across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse user requirements and design, develop, implement, and maintain computer applications for production support.
• Develop, support and enhance the Data Download Centre, Engineering Portal and iSCM websites.
• Create and maintain Excel productivity tools using VBA macros.
• Provide end‑user support for Plasma and ACCPAC systems, coordinating with the vendor Databit when needed.
• Design data extraction and transformation processes from source systems such as Plasma, NYQT, Oracle BI, SAP RFC, and PTS, and load results into the Plasma Info Server.
• Monitor Plasma Info Server database space usage and resolve potential storage issues to avoid downtime.
• Perform ad‑hoc data retrieval for order, production, and sales investigations.
• Support migration activities from Plasma Info Server to SAP and assist with company‑wide ERP automation projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• VBA programming for Excel.
• Experience with Plasma and ACCPAC applications.
• Familiarity with Oracle BI, SAP RFC and PTS data interfaces.
• Knowledge of data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) processes.
