Electronics Production Engineer – Bedok, Singapore

About the role

The Electronics Production Engineer will support the Bedok electronics manufacturing site by developing, maintaining and enhancing critical software tools that streamline production and data management processes. This role works closely with end‑users, vendors and internal IT teams to ensure smooth operation of enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse user requirements and design, develop, implement and maintain computer applications that improve business efficiency.
• Develop and enhance the Data Download Centre, Engineering Portal and iSCM websites.
• Create and maintain Excel productivity tools using VBA macros.
• Provide first‑line support for Plasma and ACCPAC applications, coordinating with the vendor Databit when needed.
• Design data extraction and transformation processes from systems such as Plasma, NYQT, Oracle BI, SAP RFC and PTS, storing results in the Plasma Info Server.
• Monitor database space consumption and resolve potential issues to avoid downtime.
• Perform ad‑hoc data retrieval for incident investigations and reporting.
• Support migration activities from Plasma Info Server to SAP and assist with company‑wide ERP automation projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• VBA programming for Excel.
• Experience with Plasma and ACCPAC applications.
• Familiarity with Oracle BI, SAP RFC and PTS data interfaces.
• Ability to develop data extraction and transformation scripts.
