Engineer/Architect/Manager - CORENET X Project Office

About the role

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) is looking for a resourceful, energetic and self-motivated individual to join its CORENET X Project Office. The role sits within the team championing digital transformation of the built environment industry, working with industry practitioners, technology providers and research institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to adopt the latest digital technology and develop solutions supporting the built environment
• Manage pilot projects and assess and evaluate the implementation of new and emerging technologies
• Support the formulation and implementation of industry-wide digital solutions that support regulatory functions
• Develop practice guides and standards to guide the preparation of submissions

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or a construction-related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in an architectural, engineering and/or construction firm or in the development of large projects
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with eagerness to learn
• Experience with change management, process improvement or strategic planning

Required skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing and presentation skills
• Proactive, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to navigate complex organisational dynamics
• Knowledge or experience of openBIM and a keen interest in digital technology are advantageous
