Engineering Intern

About the role

P&W Manufacturing Services is looking for an engineering intern based onsite at its Seletar Aerospace View site in Singapore. The internship gives exposure to the aerospace MRO industry, including engine centre, component repair and manufacturing, and involves working with the Engineering, Production and Quality departments.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in the acquisition, delivery and commissioning of capital equipment, turnkey solutions and ancillary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing product lines.
• Support the delivery of product lines through development and evaluation work on manufacturing processes.
• Help deliver first article inspection (FAI) for various product lines.
• Join continuous improvement projects for mature product lines and take responsibility for product quality.
• Identify opportunities for setup reduction, improvement strategies and process mechanization.
• Work with engineers and other departments to optimise manufacturing methods and equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a relevant course.
• Open-minded and motivated to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Learning continuous improvement tools using CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence).
