Enterprise Account Manager

About the role

UPS is hiring an Enterprise Account Manager who generates new business by managing business relationships between UPS and designated enterprise accounts. The role executes business plans by meeting and exceeding sales and revenue goals, leading service and sales activity across Freight, Package, Forwarding and Distribution. It also drives global business growth through solution development, customer-facing communication, contract development, value creation and negotiation, and keeps up with customers' competitors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain contract compliance and the renewal process so that both UPS and the customer follow and negotiate the terms of the contract.
• Maintain and monitor customer information and account performance data for Freight, Package, Forwarding and Distribution to track sales against objectives.
• Use business information and analysis reporting tools to assess account performance.
• Monitor and track competitors to gather competitive intelligence for engaging prospects and customers.
• Build high-level customer relationships and identify key decision makers within customer organisations.
• Work with internal stakeholders to develop account strategies for retention, penetration and acquisition.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Marketing, Business or a relevant discipline; a Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• At least 7-10 years of experience in a field sales role.
• Experience in the life sciences, medical device or pharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of GMP/GSP/GDP and 3PL/4PL, is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations or healthcare service experience is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO certification, especially ISO 13485:2003.
• Proven track record of increasing sales against plan objectives.
• Business-related travel is required.
