Environmental Consultant

About the role

Join Aurecon's Singapore Environment and Planning business as an Environmental Consultant. You will work with a team of specialists to deliver complex environmental projects, ensuring compliance and sustainability across construction sites.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to verify contractor adherence to EMMP requirements.
• Perform bi‑weekly environmental compliance audits at construction sites.
• Oversee monthly monitoring of fauna, flora, arboriculture, water quality, air quality, noise, and vibration.
• Manage the Information Management System (IMS) and monitor real‑time data from ECM and noise meters.
• Use dedicated apps to flag non‑compliance issues and track contractor rectifications.
• Liaise with contractors, EMMP consultants, and specialists to implement EMMP measures.
• Serve as the primary contact for environmental compliance matters.
• Compile and analyse monitoring data to produce monthly Environmental Performance Reports.
• Deliver biodiversity awareness training for site personnel.
• Develop method statements and risk assessments for monitoring activities.
• Collaborate with EMMP team members to execute projects efficiently.

Required profile

• NEA registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) or in the process of obtaining certification.
• Physically fit and able to work long hours on construction sites.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates may be considered.
• Passion for re‑imagining engineering and commitment to continuous learning.
