Estate Manager (Sales Services)

About the role

HDB is hiring an Estate Manager (Sales Services) to deliver quality services to applicants and residents of HDB flats and facilitate home ownership. The role covers eligibility assessments for flat purchases, CPF housing grants and HDB housing loans, guidance on housing and financing decisions, transaction processing, appeal handling and stakeholder liaison. It gives insight into the HDB flat purchase value chain and opportunities to streamline work processes for customers and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assess applicants' eligibility to buy a new or resale HDB flat, receive CPF housing grants and take an HDB housing loan, and guide them toward informed housing and prudent financing decisions.
• Process sale or resale transactions of HDB flats.
• Assess and respond to appeals from customers who deviate from eligibility conditions, prepare case reports and draft submissions for management's consideration.
• Liaise daily with applicants and residents, solicitors and other agencies.
• Supervise counter operations when rostered, and process Enhanced CPF Housing Grant applications from flat buyers.

• Customer-service mindset and the ability to build rapport with people at all levels.

Successful candidates are offered a 1+1 year contract. All applicants are notified within 4 weeks of the closing date whether they are shortlisted.
