Project Management Manager / Executive (Retail & Corporate Fit-Out)

About the role

Kingsmen is hiring a Manager / Executive for project management covering retail and corporate interior fit-outs, based in Singapore (HQ) on a permanent basis. The role centres on account servicing and delivering projects in line with contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Serve accounts and ensure project deliverables are achieved according to contracts
• Ensure smooth take-over and handover of sites
• Formulate project plans that allocate the resources needed
• Lead, monitor and implement projects so that timelines, workmanship, safety and technical aspects are met
• Manage project risks and issues
• Submit documents to landlords, building management and relevant authorities on time
• Prepare project budgets and billing
• Check that works meet quality standards and government regulations
• Assess contractor performance and verify variation and payment claims
• Keep project spend within budgeted costs and targeted margin
• Attend meetings and liaise with consultants, sub-contractors and other project parties
• Inspect off-site fabrication and on-site installation, ensuring defects are fixed before pre-site inspection
• Perform other ad hoc duties

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Building Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in retail and corporate office interiors
• Experience across a range of disciplines, including contract and procurement
• Preferably knowledge of the furniture industry
• Strong leadership, organisation and planning skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail, ability to work independently and in a team, and ability to work under pressure to meet timelines
• Ability to lead project teams to successful outcomes

Required skills

• Reading design drawings, architectural and technical blueprints and shop drawings
• Well versed in MS Office applications
• Internet research skills
