Executive, Inventory & Flow Management

About the role

The Executive, Inventory & Flow Management is responsible for balancing product availability with cost efficiency across FairPrice’s fulfillment centres. Using advanced replenishment systems and data analytics, the role forecasts demand, manages procurement, and ensures the right products are in the right place at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop short‑term demand forecasts by analysing promotions, competition, seasonality and emerging trends.
• Place timely purchase orders and stock transfer requests to keep fulfillment centres stocked and maintain high customer availability.
• Improve forecast accuracy and procurement discipline through data analytics and advanced Excel modelling.
• Monitor site‑specific inventory health, identifying risks such as overstocks, aged or expired inventory, and product freshness.
• Optimize Days of Supply (DOS) and In‑Stock Rates (ISR) to maximise availability while minimising holding costs.
• Track end‑to‑end order fulfillment across internal warehouses, local suppliers and marketplace sellers.
• Incorporate supplier lead times, delivery schedules and holiday closures into planning to prevent supply disruptions.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in supply and demand planning, inventory management or retail operations.
• Background in grocery retail or FMCG preferred.
• Strong understanding of grocery retail dynamics and fast‑paced operational workflows.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Familiarity with forecasting & replenishment platforms (e.g., SAP FNR, RELEX, Blue Yonder).
