Executive/Assistant Finance Manager (1-Year Contract)

About the role

CapitaLand Investment Limited is seeking an Executive/Assistant Finance Manager on a 1‑year contract to lead financial reporting and analysis for its real‑asset portfolio. The role will support business units, ensure statutory compliance and drive improvements through new technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Review monthly management accounts and perform variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Prepare annual budgeting, ad‑hoc forecasts and explain trends to senior management.
• Provide accounting support to business and operation teams, addressing financial queries.
• Compile reports for Group reporting and oversee statutory filings, including financial statements and tax.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to meet reporting requirements.
• Participate in the implementation of procedural changes, AI initiatives and system enhancements.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy or CPA qualification.
• Minimum 5 years experience in financial reporting, preferably in listed companies or the real‑estate sector.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS I).
• Ability to work independently under pressure and deliver accurate results.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Experience with IBM Cognos Controller, Planning Analytics, SAP.
• Familiarity with AI tools for finance processes (preferred).
