Experienced Audit & Tax Professional

About the role

We are looking for an experienced audit and tax professional to join our Audit department. The successful candidate will support assurance engagements and statutory tax compliance for a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality service in a professional services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assurance activities and document audit procedures in line with professional standards.
• Manage timelines and multiple engagements to ensure timely delivery of audit and tax deliverables.
• Prepare statutory tax filings and monitor developments affecting tax compliance.
• Provide timely, professional client service throughout audit and tax assignments.
• Develop an understanding of each client’s business and specific service requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma or degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant external audit experience, preferably within a professional services firm.
• Strong understanding of audit procedures, financial reporting standards, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience preparing or reviewing statutory tax filings is an advantage.
• Detail‑oriented, organised and able to manage multiple engagements independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with audit software.
