About the role

The AFOCG association, a cooperative accounting centre serving farmers, artisans, merchants and associations in the Vendée and Maine-et-Loire regions, is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (Expert Comptable) or Memorialist to join its team in La Roche‑sur‑Yon. The successful candidate will provide accounting, fiscal and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of member entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and bookkeeping for member organisations.
• Ensure compliance with French tax regulations and reporting obligations.
• Provide fiscal advice and support to agricultural, artisanal and commercial clients.
• Assist members in financial decision‑making and budgeting processes.
• Collaborate with internal experts to deliver high‑quality advisory services.

Required profile

• Diploma in accounting (Expert Comptable) or recognized memorialist qualification.
• Experience working with small and medium‑sized enterprises, preferably in the agricultural or artisanal sectors.
• Strong knowledge of French accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
