About the role
Join the vibrant team at Marina Bay Sands and be the first point of contact for guests at Lavo, a premier restaurant. As an F&B Host/Hostess you will create welcoming first impressions, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth dining flow.
Key responsibilities
- Handle reservations, answer phone calls and respond promptly to guest inquiries.
- Greet each guest warmly, seat them according to rotation plans, and ensure fair distribution across stations.
- Personalise the experience by using guest names and acknowledging known special occasions.
- Communicate relevant guest information to Captains and Server Attendants.
- Maintain guest profiles, noting birthdays, anniversaries and other important dates.
- Relay guest feedback to the Manager and Assistant Manager.
- Thank guests as they leave and perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Minimum secondary school education with O‑Level passes; a diploma is an advantage.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service or guest‑contact roles, preferably within hospitality.
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons and public holidays.
