Finance Analyst – 1 Year Contract

About the role

Bank of Singapore is seeking a Finance Analyst on a 12‑month contract to join its Financial Management team. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert, supporting finance‑related projects and regional reporting requirements while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance Projects, Front Office, Operations, and IT to align project goals with strategic objectives.
• Assist in core banking system modifications, General Ledger upgrades, and finance process automation (e.g., T24, Forward Loan Commitment, RAYS, MAS637).
• Create and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, UAT scenarios, workflows, and timelines.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Provide support to the Regional Finance Management team for financial, regulatory, and statutory reporting, including audit responses and migration activities.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis with a strong background in financial systems and project implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SQL.
• Knowledge of Python (AI experience is a plus).
