Finance Analyst, Devices and Services

About the role

Google’s Finance team partners with executive leadership to drive data‑led decisions for the Devices and Services business across APAC. As a Finance Analyst you will combine technical expertise, business acumen, and creativity to provide insights that shape strategic investments and product decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage first‑party hardware operations for the region, improving SOX compliance and reporting through system enhancements and AI workflows.
• Own day‑to‑day forecasting of profit and loss lines, collaborating with global finance and regional stakeholders for new market launches.
• Develop tools and data infrastructure to measure initiative effectiveness for executives and other audiences.
• Partner with country finance leads to launch products, adjust pricing, and expand market presence.
• Drive operational efficiency by automating processes and standardising workflows, leveraging AI/ML where possible.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, consulting, or a related function; advanced degree is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership on complex strategic and operational initiatives across products, functions, and geographies.
• Strong business judgment for resource allocation and decision‑making.

Required skills

• SQL programming.
• Experience building data infrastructure, including designing architecture and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts for automation and analytics.
