Finance Analyst – Treasury & Product Control

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our product control team. The role supports the desk by producing daily profit‑and‑loss (P&L) reports, analysing drivers and ensuring alignment with business strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Produce daily P&L reports and decompose P&L components.
• Provide commentary on significant P&L drivers and link them to desk strategies.
• Monitor new deals, late deals and market operations, including off‑market transactions and their justifications.
• Track exceptions between reported P&L and trader estimates and flag breaches of threshold limits.
• Perform monthly routine tasks such as GLAO certification, reserve computation at room‑wide and desk level, and reporting of key risk and performance indicators.
• Lead ad‑hoc projects to streamline workflows, review control processes for gaps and respond to queries from Front Office, RMG, TMO and Finance.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Business or Finance (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking.
• Knowledge of treasury products, derivatives and options (preferred).
• Strong team player with high control awareness and inquisitive mindset.
• Ability to relate product‑control processes to business strategies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Understanding of treasury products, derivatives and options.
