Finance and Tax Manager – Banking (AVP/VP)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance and Tax Manager to join a growing bank in Singapore. The role will support the bank’s expansion strategy by ensuring robust tax compliance and contributing to the finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain tax compliance for the Singapore entity, including Financial Sector Incentive (FSI) returns, FATCA, CRS, Domestic Top‑up tax and Pillar 2 regulations.
• Prepare and file tax returns, calculate provisions, disclosures and deferred tax positions.
• Review withholding tax, GST, and manage qualifying investment and loan schedules.
• Prepare transfer‑pricing documentation and respond to regulator queries (IRAS, auditors, head office).
• Support the accounts team during month‑end close, system implementations and UAT testing.
• Participate in budgeting exercises and handle ad‑hoc finance projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Commerce or a professional qualification such as ACCA.
• Minimum six years of finance and corporate tax experience within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.
