Finance Business Partner – Europe (Operations Controlling)

About the role

This position supports a fast‑growing manufacturer’s European operations, focusing on operations controlling rather than classic commercial finance. You will partner with R&D, supply chain and commercial teams to drive cost discipline, transparency and robust KPI reporting across Europe and the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct monthly performance and variance analysis for European and UK entities.
• Assess and improve control frameworks, identifying gaps in operational, financial and regulatory risk areas.
• Lead action‑plan implementation to fix process leaks and reduce costs.
• Support UK entity‑level processes, ensuring smooth operating rhythm, controls and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders on process‑improvement initiatives and compliance with group policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in FP&A or controlling, with strong supply‑chain finance and inventory‑management exposure.
• Hands‑on experience in finished‑goods export trading, understanding margins and inventory dynamics across borders.
• Proven track record of business‑process improvement and fixing operational issues.
• Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and willing to travel frequently across Europe.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
