Finance Business Partner & FP&A – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Finance Business Partner to join our team in Singapore. The role acts as a key liaison between Finance and operational business units, driving financial transparency, budgeting, forecasting and providing actionable insights to support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive cost transparency and manage operational costs against budget.
• Lead end‑to‑end budgeting and rolling forecast processes for assigned business units.
• Monitor monthly financial performance, analyse variances and prepare management reports.
• Provide financial modeling and decision support for new initiatives, expansion projects and process improvements.
• Work with accounting during month‑end closing, ensuring accurate accruals, reconciliations and compliance with internal controls.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, proposing solutions to mitigate risks and capture growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA) a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in fast‑pace, dynamic industries.
• Proven track record in Finance Business Partnering or Commercial Finance/FP&A roles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization and communicate financial insights to non‑financial stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI or SQL.
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, financial statement analysis and cost management methodologies.
