Finance Director – E‑Commerce

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Director to partner closely with the CFO of a fast‑growing, listed e‑commerce business. This senior leader will own financial operations, reporting, planning, analysis, audit, tax and risk management, driving accuracy and strategic insight across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full‑cycle financial reporting for a listed company, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance‑analysis processes to support executive decision‑making.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, business cases and support treasury and capital‑management activities.
• Drive finance transformation, continuous‑improvement initiatives and M&A support.
• Manage external audit relationships and board reporting requirements.
• Develop and inspire a high‑performing finance team while acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Degree qualified with 15+ years of progressive finance experience.
• Proven track record in a startup or high‑growth environment, including expansion into new markets.
• Experience overseeing listed‑company reporting, accounting, FP&A, finance transformation and/or M&A.
• Background in B2C sectors such as e‑commerce or consumer products.
• Independent, highly motivated, mature with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
