Finance Excellence Manager – Drive Finance Transformation

About the role

The Finance Excellence Manager will lead and support initiatives that improve financial performance, streamline processes, and boost operational efficiency across the finance function. This senior role partners with finance leadership, FP&A, business units, technology teams, internal audit, risk, and executive stakeholders to modernise finance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive finance transformation programmes, including process standardisation and ERP implementations.
• Conduct process assessments, identify automation opportunities, and implement finance operating models.
• Develop dashboards, KPI reporting, and data visualisations to enable data‑driven decision‑making.
• Support ERP roll‑outs and enhancements, ensuring robust financial controls and governance.
• Coordinate change‑management activities and continuous‑improvement projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimise shared services and finance technology landscapes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Management or related field; Master’s, MBA or professional accounting qualification highly desirable.
• Proven experience in finance transformation, corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, shared services or finance process improvement.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, controls, governance and performance management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale finance projects, ERP implementations and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
