Finance Manager / Controller – Far East Orchard

About the role

The Finance Manager/Controller will lead financial reporting and FP&A for a UK asset portfolio while building a high‑performing reporting team in Singapore. This senior position supports real‑estate acquisition, divestment and Group expansion initiatives across Singapore, the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting and FP&A for the UK portfolio of assets.
• Lead and develop the Singapore financial reporting team and manage service providers in the UK/Europe.
• Coordinate routine compliance activities, including Group and local statutory audits in Singapore and the UK/Europe.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, systems and internal controls.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for Board reporting.
• Provide technical accounting support for new M&A transactions.
• Coach team members and collaborate with Business Development and Legal teams.
• Support real‑estate acquisition, divestment and Group expansion projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline with a professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Background in a Big 4 audit firm and exposure to listed companies.
• Proven ability to design or strengthen internal controls.
• Comfortable operating at both hands‑on and supervisory levels.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
