Finance Manager

About the role

Wine Connection is seeking a Finance Manager to act as a trusted finance partner for its retail and restaurant operations across Singapore and Thailand. The role will drive revenue growth, cost optimisation and profitability through insightful financial analysis and strategic support.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operations and commercial teams, providing data‑driven insights to improve outlet profitability.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning and scenario analysis.
• Conduct variance analysis, KPI tracking and trend identification to recommend cost‑efficiency measures.
• Oversee financial reporting compliance, tax regulations, GST and corporate tax filings.
• Maintain strong internal controls, manage month‑end close, inventory and revenue recognition.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and treasury activities; support cash forecasting and banking relationships.
• Coordinate external audits, tax advisors and regulator interactions.
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team while driving process automation and transformation projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with a recognised professional qualification (CA/ACCA).
• 6–8 years of relevant experience, preferably with Big 4 exposure.
• Prior experience in retail and/or F&B environments is a plus.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
