Finance Manager – South Pacific

About the role
Bang & Olufsen is seeking a Finance Manager to strengthen its presence across the South Pacific region. You will act as a key financial liaison between local markets and group functions, supporting the Sales & Marketing organisation and overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the Singapore Asia Production Execution Hub and the broader South Pacific market.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare reliable budgets and forecasts in close collaboration with Sales & Marketing teams, and conduct gap analysis.
- Partner with the Managing Director to identify growth opportunities, providing market analysis and recommendations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, covering contracts, logistics, local regulations, taxes, and regional pricing.
- Support optimal allocation of marketing resources across local markets.
- Oversee monthly tracking of revenue, margins, costs, and investments.
- Assist the Global Accounting team with month‑end closing activities.
- Provide local support for procure‑to‑pay and order‑to‑cash processes in collaboration with Global Business Services.
- Develop business cases for new initiatives such as store openings, takeovers, and campaigns.
- Prepare ad‑hoc financial analyses for markets and senior management.
- Identify and improve gaps in existing financial tools and processes.
- Handle local finance tasks, including bank transaction posting, payroll booking, and acting as contact for local tax authorities.
Required profile
- More than 5 years of experience in Business Controlling, Financial Controlling, or FP&A.
- Proven track record as a proactive financial partner within consumer products, preferably in the luxury sector.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data for multicultural stakeholders.
- Highly collaborative, adaptable, and able to work in ambiguous environments.
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with PowerBI for reporting and analytics.
- Knowledge of SAP (advantage, not mandatory).
