Finance Operations Analyst (1-Year Contract)

About the role

The Finance Operations Analyst will support critical business-as-usual functions within Maybank Securities, ensuring timely processing of trade-related payments and compliance with regulatory cut-off times. This 1-year fixed-term position is based in Singapore and involves handling a variety of payment types across securities transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Create telegraphic transfer payments via bank portals.
• Process sales proceeds and contra-gains from securities trades.
• Execute corporate action payments such as dividends.
• Withdraw funds from clients’ segregated accounts and margin deposits for Margin Financing, CFD and LFX.
• Net clients’ receivables and payables.
• Monitor AML alerts for third-party payment requests and sanctioned jurisdictions.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

Required profile

• Singaporean citizen or PR.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably handling bank portal payments.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently, proactively and meticulously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking capability.
