Financial Analyst – Product Cost Finance Partner

About the role

The Financial Analyst will act as the dedicated Product Cost Finance Partner for a high‑growth footwear‑led brand expanding into apparel. Reporting to the Director of Product Supply Finance, you will translate cost, duty and tariff data into actionable insights that drive margin improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Brand Finance and Product Supply to set benchmark‑informed target FOB assumptions across product categories.
• Provide cost, margin and sourcing insights at key go‑to‑market milestones, explaining FOB movements and drivers.
• Build and maintain a quantified savings pipeline, covering yield improvements, SMV reduction, material consolidation, vendor and surcharge reductions, packaging and duty optimization.
• Track approved savings through production, reconciling target, final seasonal review, purchase orders and standard‑cost outcomes.
• Monitor monthly actualization of savings, reporting identified, validated and capitalized value.
• Assess tariff and duty exposure, quantify gross exposure and partner on mitigation actions.
• Govern FOB from cost sheet to production purchase orders, managing base FOB changes, surcharges and discounts.
• Identify incremental opportunities beyond committed savings and support stakeholders to convert them into measurable results.
• Help establish repeatable costing methods, data standards and controls.

Required profile

• Experience in product cost finance or related financial analysis within a consumer‑goods environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into clear business actions.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, supply, planning, merchandising and product development teams.
• Detail‑oriented approach to tracking and reconciling financial data.
