Fixed Income Portfolio Manager

About the role

Join the $56 billion Global Fixed Income team as a Portfolio Manager responsible for leading Asian macro strategy and portfolio positioning across interest rates and foreign exchange. Based in Singapore, you will work closely with global portfolio managers, traders, and analysts to translate regional market views into positive outcomes for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assume direct portfolio management of Asian macro exposures, including idea generation, trade execution, position sizing, and risk oversight.
• Lead regional input into portfolio strategy and asset‑allocation discussions by presenting high‑conviction views on central banks, inflation, growth, policy, valuations and market technicals.
• Manage and monitor regional risks, perform scenario analysis, assess liquidity and attribute performance to ensure alignment with portfolio objectives.
• Identify relative‑value and directional opportunities across yield curves, duration, currencies and cross‑market relationships, partnering with analysts for efficient implementation.
• Build and refine analytical tools, market frameworks and decision‑support materials to strengthen portfolio construction and improve risk‑adjusted returns.
• Represent the team’s investment views externally through client meetings, prospect discussions, consultant reviews, written commentary and presentations.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of experience in portfolio management, macro strategy, rates and FX trading, or a related institutional fixed‑income role with significant exposure to Asian markets.
• Proven track record of generating and managing investment ideas that add value.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, prospects and consultants.
