Freight Sales Support Executive

About the role

Our client, a leading player in the transportation and logistics sector, is looking for a Freight Sales Support Executive to strengthen its sales and operations coordination. The role involves preparing freight rates, supporting the sales team, and ensuring smooth shipment hand‑over between customers and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly freight rates to assigned customers.
• Handle ad‑hoc rate enquiries from existing customers and overseas partners.
• Assist the sales team in preparing freight quotations and coordinating shipment requirements with operations.
• Follow up on import, export and cross‑border shipment quotations, including customer feedback and rate negotiations.
• Coordinate confirmed shipments with the operations team, providing necessary documentation for hand‑over.
• Review agent invoices and freight costs to support accurate billing.
• Check freight costs and selling rates to help select suitable carriers for bookings.
• Prepare periodic KPI reports and update key customers.
• Liaise closely with sales, operations and customer service teams to ensure timely follow‑up.

Required profile

• At least NITEC or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, logistics pricing or procurement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
