Full Stack Software Engineer (React / Node.js / React Native)

About the role

Activate Interactive is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join its growing team for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work on both web and mobile applications that aim to create a positive impact on users and the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive web interfaces using React and TypeScript, and mobile features with React Native.
• Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Node.js (Express/NestJS or equivalent).
• Integrate web/mobile clients with third‑party services and enterprise systems.
• Design data access logic and work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and object storage.
• Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold engineering quality standards.
• Use Git‑based workflows, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and containerize applications with Docker.
• Deploy and support applications on AWS services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Apply secure coding practices, troubleshoot defects, and support SIT, UAT, and production releases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with UX, QA, DevOps, product, and architecture teams.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and React Native.
• Proficiency in Node.js backend development, REST API design, and frameworks such as Express or NestJS.
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, automated testing (Jest), CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
• Basic knowledge of AWS infrastructure and secure coding (OWASP guidelines).
