Functional Business Analyst – CLM/AML (Banking)

About the role

The role involves partnering with business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document requirements within the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) domains for a banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with business and operational specialists to elicit, validate and document functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Analyse current processes, produce “to‑be” designs, and assess impact of changes.
• Maintain detailed business requirement documentation, release notes and traceability matrices throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with System Analysts, Solution Architects and testing teams to ensure requirements are correctly translated and verified during SIT and UAT.
• Manage requirement changes, risks and scope creep, and support governance and approval processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in banking with CLM/AML exposure.
• Proven experience in business analysis, requirements elicitation, documentation and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
