Senior Group Accountant

About the role

The Senior Group Accountant will manage accounting for a property-owning subsidiary and oversee accounting across SLF subsidiaries, driving digital transformation to enhance finance operations and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly closing, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, cashflow management and receivables collection for assigned subsidiaries.
• Prepare financial statements ensuring compliance with SFRS, GST, corporate tax, XBRL and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits, regulatory reporting and prepare board papers and financial analyses.
• Review SLF Group consolidation, support Group financial reports and assist in board and management reporting.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives through automation, digitalisation, AI adoption and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• CPA certification is an advantage.
• Self‑driven, resourceful and committed to high‑quality work.
• Strong analytical thinking, continuous improvement mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
