Fund Accounting/Reporting Senior Associate

About the role

SS&C is looking for a Fund Accounting/Reporting Senior Associate to support its growing fund administration business in Singapore. The role covers the fund accounting services provided to hedge fund clients, including accounting and valuation of complex investments, timely and accurate NAV and financial statements, and ad hoc daily and month-end client reporting. The position is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of client deliverables in line with Service Level Agreements.
• Prepare periodic client NAV reporting packages.
• Prepare annual and semi-annual financial statements for funds in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP and other standards, within agreed deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients, auditors and internal teams on financial statement preparation.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Facilitate new client setups, new fund launches and fund conversions.
• Take part in projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• University degree in finance or accounting, or commensurate experience.
• 2 years of experience in a financial services environment in fund accounting and reviewing financial statements, preferably in hedge funds.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to anticipate issues and drive solutions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of global accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP)
• Understanding of fund accounting and the fund industry
