FX Advisor (AVP) – Foreign Exchange Specialist

About the role

OCBC is seeking an experienced FX Advisor at the AVP level to help clients navigate foreign‑exchange markets and make informed decisions on international transactions. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering tailored guidance while contributing to the growth of the bank’s FX business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on foreign‑exchange transactions, market trends and product offerings.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to understand their financial goals and FX needs.
• Analyse market data and trends to identify opportunities and risks for clients.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement FX strategies.
• Stay current with market developments, regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Required profile

• A degree in finance, economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar FX or banking role.
• Strong knowledge of foreign‑exchange markets and products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
